Rescued from death!

I am Priya. I was born in a Hindu family. I am happy to share with you my experience of salvation.

            I heard about Jesus for the first time when I was studying 6th grade in a Christian school. When I was in 7th grade, I went to play with my friends near a lake at Ambattur without informing my parents. Two of us fell into a swampy pit and started sinking. I felt myself travelling in the path of death. At that moment Jesus was the only person who came to my mind though I knew numerous mythical gods in Hinduism. At once I cried to Him, “Jesus please save us”. Till then I felt like being at about 2 feet deep below the water surface. But to my wonder I was able to push myself above the water surface with some support. I surely knew that I was rescued from the path of death only because Jesus helped me in that time of danger. Seeing my face above the surface, my friends on bank helped me out. My nose started to bleed. I comforted my frightened friends that I will be perfectly alright because it was Jesus who saved me. I wiped the blood and started thanking Jesus for giving me a new life. Even today my heart is filled with joy and thankfulness when I read Psalms 40:2 which says, “He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on rock and gave me a firm place to stand”.

       My boloved friends please don't worry about your problems. Jesus is greater and bigger than your problems. CAST YOUR BURDENS AND PROBLEMS UNTO JESUS FOR HE WILL SURELY CARE FOR YOU.  HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH; COME UNTO HIM.
